WhatsApp is often the biggest thing on a phone. Save a chat to HakoDrive, delete the media from WhatsApp, and still read every message with its photos.

Good to know
Can I put a saved chat back into WhatsApp?
On iPhone, no app can put chats back into WhatsApp. HakoDrive keeps them readable for you, with photos and voice notes, after you clear them from WhatsApp. On Android we plan to keep WhatsApp’s own backup file so you can restore it on a new phone.
What if I forget my password?
Your 24 recovery words open your box, and you can keep them in iCloud Keychain. A phone that is already signed in can also let you back in. Because we cannot open your files, we cannot reset your password for you.
Does HakoDrive back up in the background?
New photos back up within seconds while the app is open or still running. iPhone limits background work for every app, so a closed app catches up the next time you open it, or overnight while charging.
What happens to things I delete?
They go to Trash in your box for 15 days, on every device, and you can restore them. Photos removed from your iPhone by Free up space stay in your box.
When does it launch?
We are testing on real iPhones now. Waitlist members get access first, in the order of the list.
